There is a big difference between CO2 and compressed air- first consideration is that- can your marker can take compressed Air or CO2.
Most mechanical markers will take CO2 and emarkers will only take Compressed air. Only 1 or 2 models like SP VIDE - you can mix the two.
If you want to use a Tank like the STAKO which is like RM1000++ (thats more than half the price of a mechanical marker). You have to be sure that your field has an compressor to fill it. Otherwise you'd be stuck with a very exp piece of fibre wrapped capsule. You could also fill it from a scuba tank but that will bet you around about less than 3000psi and it won't be consistent.
