Tourney Fun!!
We fielded 3 teams in a 3v.3 competition in November for the first tournament in Kuching. 2 of our teams made it into the quarter finals but unfortunately we not able to progress further. But for a group of guys who played at the field only twice, I think we did quite well.We are now looking forward to other tourneys in the city coz playing on our weekly scenario games is fun and adrenelin packed... tourneys are the same but with an added edge of urgency and this has pushed us to further feats....
Our group that played in that tourney... was a long day but we surely had fun. To add to that, we were the biggest contigent as a team at the tourney. Will post more photos later.

This was a long awaited game after 3 weeks of absence from the field. We didnt have enought people but we went ahead anyway... it was all great fun on a Saturday afternoon.
By the way the field does not sell beer for your information! The bottles look like beer bottles, may smell like beer but it may not be beer. Maybe its some energy drink... hahhahhahhahaaaha.... right Richard?! right Nauk?!
Waiting for the next round to create some Chaos in the Jungle !! See Ya!!

ION Package

This is the ION package which is one heavenly marker to shoot. It is a quiet and durable marker to use. At the moment, it is a bit hungry on the gas. But i am going to install a new QEV soon and adjust the dwell settings (to reduce the gas usage giving the marker a better performance). This should give me more paintballs per air fill. A drawback that some people may find on this marker is that firing modes changes need to be done inside the grip. For me, it does not bother me as we usually have a pre-agreed playing format...ie Semi- Auto.
The beauty of E-markers is that even on Semi-Auto mode, you have the power to access the power of the beast within... you can conveniently start ramping the ION and feel that surge of power in your hands. In fact, I have to keep reminding myself not to start ramping coz the urge is so great... :)
Overall, an Emarker is what i would call an 'once off' investment and so far I think that the ION is a great value for money marker.
In late October, the ION XE will be available here and this one you are able to remove the bolt without a full disassembly of the marker. The ION XE is an upgraded version of the ION. This would make it easier to do quick cleaning or maintenance on field. The Spart Parts ION XE should go for about RM1500 here.
If you dont have your own marker, look into it...it will really enhance the level of play and fun.
